Love for games
Overview
These display stands are made of PLA (polylactic acid). This is a bioplastic made from renewable raw materials (e.g. corn starch) - that's brilliant! BUT: Many online retailers glorify this plastic and claim that it is biodegradable.
TL;DR: That's only half the story and a bit more complicated. It has to be industrially composted.
In many countries, PLA cannot be recycled and has to be disposed of as general waste. So don't throw it in the compost or organic waste bin. That's why I try to use 100% recycled material whenever possible. However, since it's still a bit rare, the color options for my displays are currently limited.
The colors white and black are made of 100% recycled PLA made in Germany.
All other colors are made of PLA, which was produced in Germany.
Small Parts
It should be clear and obvious, but:
Contains small parts! Keep away from children!
Not too hot!
Attention!
Please do not place the stands in a very warm place. The parts become soft at higher temperatures (above 50°C). Do not clean in the dishwasher or with hot water.
Sustainable!
Disposal Instructions
The packaging material is recyclable, the cardboard and filling material are made from recycled paper. Simply reuse the cardboard, filling material and bag! Use them to store things or send games that you want to get rid of.
