retroboter is a small (one-man) design studio with a focus on retro and contemporary video games. His mission is to offer collectors, gamers, historians and everyone else solutions to display their valued video games, handhelds, video game consoles and controllers in an unobtrusive way. The focus does not lie with the stand, but the object. Therefore, all retroboter display stands are designed minimalistic. They fade into the background to take your treasures to the next level, in the truest sense of the word. Elevate your collection.

retroboter uses PLEXIGLAS® by Röhm for all acrylic displays. The material is made in Germany. The displays are developed and manufactured in Germany by retroboter. The material for the 3D printed displays and accessories is also made in Germany. The packaging material is made Germany. From the raw material to the finished package, everything is Made in Germany .

The display stands are manufactured in small batches and all parts are checked for a perfect fit. All acrylic parts are packed with protective film to ensure they arrive crystal clear and without scratches.

retroboter was born out of love for retro videogames and the desire to showcase them beautifully. The focus lies on the collectible, the videogame console, controllers and so on.

retroboter display stands are minimalist in design and are meant to be unobtrusive, in order to display your treasures in perfect light.

Therefore, there will be no stands with engravings or other finishings. Apart from that, it is problematic from a copyright point of view to use other third-party logos.

Custom Made

Every stand from retroboter has been developed with the original consoles, handhelds and controllers at hand. The stands fit snugly against the devices. Only small quantities are produced in-house. The original devices are used to ensure that the stand fits the device well and that the center of gravity is correct so that nothing can tip over.
